Firstly, I'd like to point out, that my time (11 months from December 2020 to November 2021) in the UK was as not altogether uncomfortable, when I got back to the UK on the 2nd of December 2020, from my prior 10 month long stay in Spain, where I had spent almost 11 moths camping in my campervan in Tarifa and 10 of those months on Sacaba beach, in Malaga, enduring the lockdown. With a short excursions to Almeria in the lockdown period, that lockdown period kicking in, on the 14th of March. I'd in that time met and befriended some really interesting people, some of them Brits, that is, when the UK Covid lockdown was further relaxed in June/July 2021 and Brit's could re-enter Spain. However, I had to return my campervan to the UK for December 2020, due to it needing it's MOT.

Prior to the summer opening up of the UK, I'd spent most of my time with my good friend Tony, quarantining in his house in Wallasey, or in recluse mode, just keeping to myself in my campervan on the beautiful New Brighton promenade. In passing, whilst driving around New Brighton, I'd seen a number of physically constructive and interesting things happening in my old childhood and early adolescence New Brighton, Wallasey, playground, as I had drove through the Victoria Quarter area. I was somewhat inquisitive as to what was going on with all the new mural work and fancy looking bars. I happened to park up one day on Victoria Rd, and got talking to seemingly the main character behind these happenings. a Mr Danny Davies, who went on to give me permission to park and camp in his latest project's carpark. The AntiSuperSuperMarket, known in short as the 'Hope market'. I'll leave some links here as to what it's all about. https://www.rockpointleisure.com and https://www.hopeantisupermarket.com or you can Google search @New Brighton, HopeAntiSupermarket'. I further went on to hang out with a group of musicians that were using the hopeantisupermarket as a band practise facility. It was an interesting and creative environment. I have to say I enjoyed the progressive energies around me. :-) The band went by the name

-Razzmatazz-. Consisting at that time of Lead Singer: Willy.

Lead Guitar: Ben.

I have to say that I'd had to return to the UK from Europe/Spain , due to my vehicle MOT expiring on the 4th of December 2020 and Brexit coming into effect as of the 1st of January 2021.

So... I'm now off again, it's been a frustrating 20 months, for myself and many others. The Covid19 virus has had us (That is, everyone on the planet) in a kinda suspended animation since March 2020. But now in early November 2021, after varying global vaccination programs, the Covid19 virus seems to of been hopefully brought somewhat under control. So much so, that an element of normalcy can be again enjoyed. Myself, presently a UK passport holder, is under an additional burden. Called Brexit! Due to the Brexit (Britain's exit from the European Union) my traveling in the Schengen agreement countries of the European union, has been limited to 90 days in every 180. This sucks for me and all the others that didn't agree with the Brexit!

So far, I have had three Covid19 vaccinations over the last 9 months in the UK, and came by the knowledge that on the 31st of October 2021, it was announced that, persons that can prove they have had at least two (2) Covid19 vaccinations, using a UK government NHS (National Health Service) phone app, can now pass through a number of the EU state/country borders, without having to show proof of a -Private practice- PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test, taken just 48 hours before arriving at the border control. My thoughts were that I'd probably be fine if I were not going so far, with a PCR test acquired in the UK (At a cost of around £40.00). That might get me through at least the first border, or maybe even two borders within 48 hours. But from then on in. I'd be at the mercy of foreign border control guards, dictating to me what and where, I would need to get checked. Even the possibility of requiring that I quarantine in their country at a private hotel, and then gouging me on PCR test prices, and hotel quarantine costs and expenses. This after a few borders, could get to be a rather aggravating, humiliating and become a costly experience. It also doesn't help that the UK has consistently been in the top three highest Covid19 infection rated countries, per capita, in the World. Effectively making Brits the leper's, of certainly the EU, if not the World. Behind me in the UK, I'd left some rather interesting debates and denial. Tin hat parties and conspiracy theorists UK. However, going forward, who knows what?
